Congratulations to the members of Spellegance - Lucy Taylor, Ann Waterfall
and Barb Kline-Schoder - on winning the 2013 MCS Community Spelling Bee!
This was a well-earned victory, as team Spellegance has competed in the Bee
for 7 years and made it to the final round every time but had yet to win
until this year. So if you see them around town, give them a high five - and
ask them to define their winning word: "wickiup."
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Bee. The MCS gym came alive with
the enthusiasm and energy of the teams (many in costume), spectators and
volunteers, and a fun evening was enjoyed by all.
Congratulations again to Spellegance. And remember, it's never too early to
start putting together your own winning team for next time...
